Context

I have always been fascinated by small doodles and graphics. A single icon can represent a feature, action or function and when utilised well can provide enormous value to the user experience. A library of icons can form a powerful universal language understood by the growing amount of people using mobile and wearable devices. Furthermore, when put together within a design system, it can play an essential part of developing a UI Kit. My personal exploration of icon design has definitely been influenced by my growing passion and continuous work in UI Design.

Outcome

Below is just a short insight into some of the work that I have collated over the years as a Designer. As I progress further in my career I hope to gain a more developed understanding of how strong icons can be when placed beautifully next to cohesive, functional & simple layouts.
